TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOUR BOOKINGS

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you ("the client") and Thailand Driver Guide ("the company") when booking a tour or travel service. By confirming a booking, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Bookings & Confirmation

  1. All bookings must be made via our official communication channels (website, email, phone, or authorized agents).
  2. A booking is confirmed once a deposit or full payment is received and acknowledged by the company.

2. Payment Policy

  1. Deposit: A minimum deposit (typically 30%-50% of the total tour cost) is required upon confirmation.
  2. Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days prior to the start date unless agreed otherwise.
  3. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, PayPal, and selected credit cards.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  1. More than 14 days before the tour: Full refund minus processing fee.
  2. 7–14 days before the tour: 50% refund.
  3. Less than 7 days or no-show: No refund.
  4. Company Cancellation: If the tour is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather, force majeure), a full refund or alternative date will be offered.

4. Amendments & Changes

  1. Changes to bookings (dates, group size, itinerary) must be requested in writing and are subject to availability and additional costs.
  2. The company reserves the right to make minor changes to the itinerary if necessary for operational reasons.

5. Travel Insurance

  • All travelers are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers personal health, accidents, cancellations, and baggage loss.

6. Client Responsibilities

  1. Clients must ensure they have valid travel documents (passports, visas).
  2. Clients must behave respectfully towards the driver/guide, local communities, and other group members.
  3. Any damage caused by the client may result in liability for repair costs.

7. Liability Disclaimer

  1. The company shall not be liable for loss, injury, or damage caused by third parties, unforeseen circumstances, or acts of God.
  2. While we ensure professional service, participation in tours is at the client's own risk.

8. Special Requirements

  • Please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions, mobility issues, or medical conditions that may affect your participation in the tour.

9. Child Policy

  • Children are welcome on most tours, but specific child rates and requirements may apply. Please inquire when booking.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand.
