Day 1: Bangkok → Khao Yai Camping

  • Morning: Pick‑up from your hotel or airport in Bangkok; drive ~2.5 hours to Pak Chong / Khao Yai.
  • Early afternoon: Arrive at Lam Ta Khong Campground register and pay camping fee
  • Camp setup, Pitch tents Afternoon: Guided hike into the park—explore dry evergreen forests, wildlife, monkeys, gibbons.
  • Evening: Dinner at camp or local eatery. Return at dusk to watch elephants gather at salt licks
  • Overnight Khaoyai camping

Day 2: Wildlife & Waterfalls

  • Early morning: Guided trek to spot deer, elephants, birds (like hornbills and trogons)
  • Visit: Famous Haew Suwat Waterfall (from “The Beach”) and scenic lookout from the second highest mountain in the park
  • Evening: Return to riverside camp. Free time to relax, stargaze, or join a night wildlife walk.
  • Overnight Khaoyai camping

Day 3: Leisure & Return to Bangkok

  • Morning: Leisurely breakfast, optional short hike or wildlife viewing.
  • Late morning: Break camp, pack up.
  • Afternoon: Transfer back to Bangkok, arriving late afternoon or early evening.
